Wellness CORE Hearty Cuts - Product Review

WELLNESS CORE GRAIN FREE HEARTY CUTS  PRODUCT REVIEW

When I saw the box arrive from CHEWY.COM, I knew I had to get over there right away before that brat my sister Paprika saw it!

Our human, Carol had already told me about this box, it was a scrumptious food from Wellness Core we had heard of but never tried before:

Grain-Free Hearty Cuts in Gravy Indoor Shredded Chicken & Turkey Recipe Canned Cat Food!!

We cannot resist the lure of savory chicken and turkey, and we understand that this delectable food has no fillers!

Unbelievably we were told it was ALSO low in calories.

As you can see (above) Paprika wasted absolutely NO time HURLING herself into the box, trying to upstage me.

Hi I'm Paprika and I believe this is MY box?!
TIME TO EXPLORE!

We love chicken and turkey!  And how can we go wrong with grain-frees food? Our human also tells us it is easy to eat and has no artificial preservatives!

WHY OH WHY can't I open this can?

I think we have to wait for our human to open it, Peaches!

I'm not into "can-sniffing" but I can make an exception for THIS!

Okay, I give up!  You KNOW we can't open cans, Carol. Have mercy on us!

Aw, it's wonderful!  Yum Yum Yum Yum  Meow Mrrrrrrr!  Better than we thought! We're going to finish it all!
Silence from Peaches & Paprika

Editor's note:  Weeks later, they are still eating it and loving it!  My smallest Princess "picky" Paprika loves it and my plumpish Queen Peaches cannot get enough. Hopefullly it really IS low calorie since she likes it so much!

Core Wellness comes in 5.5 oz cans, in a case of 24.  They are on sale now for $39.99, marked down from $46.99. Shipping at Chewy.com is FREE on orders over $49.00. It also comes in a combo flavor of chicken & tuna.  We bet it's even MORE scrumptious!

One last Cactus Pose...We can't Help It!

I've told Peaches and Paprika over and over that the BlogPaws conference ENDS today, but they can't stop posing with Cactuses...

How to stop them?

They meow if they can't go themselves, at least they should have the vicarious thrill of being near a cactus or two...or three. They don't really understand how BlogPaws works...

Seriously, hope those who got to go had a wonderful time!

Back from the Vets!

Well we are back from our annual vet visit and even though the vet and her staff were very nice to us, we cannot recommend it as a "fun" experience, such as bird-watching or climbing on doors.

Here we are, in our carriers, wondering what the next 5 minutes will bring!

Dr Battison is checking out my tummy while her compassionate assistant Kelsey holds me tight. As you can see I'm cooperating fully! - Paprika

Next, I, Peaches, got an eye exam as part of our annual!

I have lovely eyes. I did great, as always!  I was given an "A"!
I didn't do quite as well on the tooth exam and only got a B-. I was told: dental rinse...or else!

My human was carefully instructed on the art of giving me a "dental rinse."  We'll just see about THAT!

Then came another part of the exam...

Hey I wasn't counting on THIS, folks!

Last but not least....our nail clippings.  We didn't enjoy this unnecessary  routine all and had NO FUN! Do we LOOK like we're having fun???? Lookit Paprika she's making a half hearted attempt to escape. Lots of luck with that, Paprika!

AT last!  We are home again and can stretch and um, "relax" in our normal positions!
The red velour sofa is my style!

Paprika prefers her"long cat" pose on a calico cot in the den!

ZZZZZZZZZ....

Peaches & Paprika help with new exhibit

We're great fans of ALL birds and if we can't eat them, at least we got to look at some pictures while Carol was organizing and framing them for her new exhibit.

First of all we helped Carol maintain a calm disposition due to  keeping her company for the entire project. AND I, Peaches, stood guard to repel all intruders and keep the pictures safe!

I even slept near the picture 'round the clock to make sure they came to no harm (from Paprika)

It wasn't always easy!  Paprika SAYS she helped too! (See below)  Yeah, right.

Finally the exhibit got hung, and believe us, it was due to OUR EFFORTs that they got as far as the museum gallery wall!  So we take full credit. (except for the exhibit sign, see below). Carol had to take that to a printer. But we did everything else!

Respectfully submitted, Peaches & Paprika

Carol's Waterbirds in Love Exhibit - We Helped!

Since our human had trouble reading print last month, but could see pictures decided to tackle an old collection of about 30K waterfowl pix she took in 2009. She created an exhibit at a local little museum which WE helped her prepare. We'll tell you tomorrow HOW!  Not exactly "Caturday Art" BUT Cats Helping with Art should work, right?  Close enough...

The exhibit is in a cute little historical house. There's a slideshow which will run during the exhibit and a reception June 12. The large screen shows a part of the slideshow.

I, Peaches, stood guard over the pictures night and day but more on that tomorrow!

Mess with her pictures and you're toast!
