SlimCat Interactive Feeder - "Play Away The Pounds" - Product Review

Chewy.com's          SlimCat Interactive Feeder Fun         #ChewyInfluencer

Our human, Carol, is part of the Chewy Influencer group (#chewyinfluencer) and this week she gave us something really neat to review:  The SlimCat interactive Feeder.
Our first hint that this was a special day was when we saw that box we love from  Chewy.com.  We felt there MUST be something good in it and sure enough, there was:  a huge blue plastic ball to play with!  Actually it's called the " SlimCat Interactive Feeder" but we call it the Blue ball with yummies inside.

Much to our frustration, our human was very clumsy opening it but once she figured it out, she put something inside it and gave it to us!  TREATS!  But we would have to work for them.  THEN my  sister, Paprika rolled the blue ball wrong and the food flew away!

As usual I had to take matters into my own hands (PAWS) TO show her how to get treats out of the ball!
I taught her a lesson by eating all the food while she drooled!

I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. YUM!!!
Whew! I think I lost 2 pounds! That was exhausting teaching Paprika how the "work the SlimCat ball" and get my own treat!

********

SlimCat interactive feeder DOES play away the pounds! You can't help it, it's a ball with treats in it and we gotta get at them!
SlimCat feeder  is on sale for $4.87 from Chewy.com and we recommend your human hasten to get this delectable ball for you! Especially, if you're, umm...a little overweight like me.

Disclaimer:
We are not being compensated for this post.  We received a SlimCat Interactive feeder in exchange for our honest review.

Note: Here are some things SlimCat says about their feeder:

When your life revolves around napping in the sun, it's easy to add an extra pound or two. But the vets have spoken: 50% of American cats need to slim down! The PetSafe SlimCat Interactive Feeder lets your cat play away the pounds while working for his dinner or treats. Pack the SlimCat feeding ball with your fur baby's kibble, and it distributes an adjustable amount of food as your cat bats and pounces.

Key Benefits
Helps fight feline obesity by encouraging play
Improved digestion by giving smaller portion sizes
Reduces excessive meowing due to boredom

Our Easter Wishes

Happy Easter to all our Blog friends!  We lucked out and got to take off those rabbit costumes (see previous post)  for Easter Today. Whew! We got out of it because we made a "campaign" promise to wear rabbit ears next year.  Hoping our human will forget all about that promise....hee here.  Thanks to all for thinking we were cute, though.  We are each sending you our own card + one from us together!

Peaches gives Photography Lesson

THE LESSON

I was forced to "take matters into my own paws" this week, since Carol was too "busy" with the dogs' slideshow to take my picture...all week!  My tips:

1) Find an attractive animal print. Zebra will do!
2) Position yourself in an attractive pose in front of "the camera."
3) Ask Human where "Timer" is
4) Use PAW to push timer
5) SPRING to get in front of camera again
6) Click
7) Repeat Operation
8) Do not include sisters or relative in the pose
9) Rest and/or Sleep
How do you think I did? (illustrations below)

A FABULOUS LIKENESS, DON'T YOU THINK?

This is a very special week for us because we made it to our very first blogoversary!  It has been an incredible year making new friends and we express our gratitude to everyone for the warm warm welcome you gave us.  Thanks to Zoolatry's Ann A. for our beautiful Blogoversary BADGE!  We also want to thank Janet B. of The Cat On My Head for hosting our very first blog hop, Athena and Marie of Caturday Art, our very second blog hop and Mo of Cat Blogosphere  for being our Steady Eddy hop every day!  Not to forget Jan of Jan's Funny Farm for interviewing us on Mousebreath! Also Jan & Luke  from Wag N' Woof for being our co-host on Box Day in June (and Zoolatry again for her wonderful box day designs), Ellen Pilch of 15 and Meowing for being the very first blogger we ever met.

We learned wonderful new phrases like Oh Mi Cod and MOLCaturday Art, Catubuloussisfurs and brofurs and the wonderful blog hops. Please forgive us if you helped us and we didn't mention you because everyone helped by being present!  It is so solitary sometimes being a Kitty Mom but no more!

So although we couldn't thank everyone we sure think you all are great and look forward to another fun year.

Happy St Patrick's Day-Caturday Art

Our Caturday Art Card celebrates St Patrick's Day! This card has "no hats" as we think our orange and black smartly striped heads (especially mine)  are one of our best features our human did succeed in getting hats on us later.  Happy week to all! This is actually a card from last year but most have not seen it yet on our blog since we were just starting out then.

Dr Seuss Day celebrated by Peaches and Paprika

Peaches and Paprika get in the spirit of the Dr Seuss Day at the local library!

Before deciding on virtual striped hats, we tried out a cardboard hat on Paprika, which Ellen Pilch had brought us.  Paprika thought itv was a Hairbrush.
