Peaches Welcome Hat Ceremony

Special Note: We posted this yesterday for CATURDAY ART but if you've not seen it, we wanted to leave it here for The Cat on My Head's Sunday blog hoppers too! Here's Peaches now to explain!

Hello everyone, Peaches here! Yes it’s true, I want to share my totally cool HAT CEREMONY  (see below short video)

You can in fact read about my HAT activities on page 185  in
Deb Barnes’ treasured book, Makin' Biscuits.  My story & those of countless other “creative cats” appear. I feel honored to be among them.

You will also find some of your fellow bloggers there such as 15 and Meowing, Lola the Rescued Cat, Cat Chat with Caren and Cody, The Island Cats & many more!

MEANWHILE: I know you’re dying to know about my hat ceremony.  Well, I meet my human at the door every day with a nice meow and THEN when removes her HAT. … I put it on!  If I do say so myself  I look much better in all hats than she does.

To prove this is true, I have attached the little video (above) I helped my human make showing me trying on a blue hat, a green hat, a striped hat and a grey furry hat.  I feel a real communion with the hats. I hope you don’t think I’m crazy?

Re MAKIN' BISCUITS": You can buy Deb's book to read thru Amazon on Kindle & my human did that, but she really enjoys the paperback, finding the little stories wonderful bedtime reading! Thanks Deb for giving us a rare glimpse into the lives of so many funny wonderful cats including your  wonderful 7 furrrballs.  We never tire of reading about their adventures.

  9. Well, honestly, the stripey hat and the gray furry one DO look a little like cat beds.
I love hats too, and many of them are fur-lined because I left them laying around somewhere.

  12. I don’t know why your recently posted link is not showing up for you on our blog. I have the little CommentLuv box checked below the comment box, and that’s what determines whether or not that link appears at the conclusion of your comment. You are not possibly unchecking that are you? Let me know if that might be the case. If not, I will do some research and see if I can find an answer for you. Our hat ceremony is so amusing and unusual. We have that book and have read quite a bit of it, but not your section. Mom is going to check it out before we go to sleep.
